Best Veteran
Best Veteran is a category in the Annual Oddworld Forums Poster Awards for members who joined the Oddworld Forums a long time ago but have been making well-received posts and contributions in the last calendar year. It was introduced in the 1st Awards as Best Old Dude and was renamed in the 8th Awards to avoid the implication that eligable winners must actually be old or the oldest member currently posting. The 8th Awards explicitly stated the eligible winners must have joined the Forums more than five years before the current Awards.
