Welcome to The Oddworld Encyclopædia (TOE), a project that hopes to develop into an unofficial—yet authoritative—compendium of Oddworld knowledge regarding the franchise and its titles, canon, creators, and fandom. Currently TOE has conspicuously little content, with just thirty‐four core articles that have not been added to since April 2006, but with the October relaunch of TOL, articles will be added and updated routinely.

The Oddworld Encyclopædia is no longer divided into sections, and the current thirty‐four articles are listed alphabetically below; however, in addition, TOE hosts an unofficial Oddworld FAQ featuring the most common queries posed by Oddworld fans.

Welcome to The Oddworld Encyclopædia, the single stop for all information pertaining to Oddworld. Whether it's the latest in holistic hypertext game guides or the newest theories of phylogenic speciation, TOE will be here for you. Pieced together from years of games, interviews, public relations and logical inspection, this work aims to satisfy every fan's lust for Oddworld knowledge.

The Oddworld Encyclopædia is divided into two sections. The first explores the fictional Oddworld, the characters and stories brought to life by Oddworld Inhabitants. This is further divided into an array of subsections catagorising the articles into groups such as creatures, characters, places and technology. The second section is devoted to the Oddworld Games themselves, as well as other creations of Lorne Lanning and Oddworld Inhabitants. Synopses, walkthroughs, transcripts and reviews are sorted by the game they are for.

A note: The Oddworld Encyclopædia is a new creation. The selection of articles it currently features has been chosen because it is thought they will give an overview as to what Oddworld is really about. Over time, more and more will be added.
