Name:   Hayley - Web Designer of Depths of Oddworld fansite
Age:   19 years old
Location:   Gold Coast, Australia
Occupation   Multimedia Student & Web Designer
Favorite Film:   A Bugs Life. Don't laugh!
Favorite food:   Subway veggie burgers... yum!
Favorite video game?   The whole Oddworld series... but Munch's Oddysee is the Best!!

Hobbies:
HC:   Working on my oddworld fan site, painting, drawing, and being creative.

Q:   When did you first become aware of Oddworld?

HC:  When I purchased a PlayStation 1, it came with a demo disk; Abe's Oddysee was one of the games featured, so back in 1997, I bought the game soon after finishing the demo.

Q:  When did you first becomea "true" Oddworld fanatic?

HC: Right from the start as soon as Abe said "Hello" I was hooked, but I was most impressed once I reached Monsaic Lines... I realized then... that this is more than a game. After convincing a close friend of mine that this is the best game ever ... she went and bought the PC version. For a whole day we sat and played screen by screen, together...she was on the PC and I was on the Playstation, until we finished Abe's Oddysee and saved all 99 Mudokons.

Q:  What is your favorite Oddworld character and why?

HC:  Abe I would have to say, closely followed by Fuzzles ... Abe is my hero, because I relate to him I guess... he fights to rid the world of the corporate bad guys, as well as saving animal species and the environment, we need more Abe's on earth.

Q:  What's your favorite environment?

HC:  Monsaic Lines, it's beautiful and full of culture.

Q:   Who's your favorite bad guy?

HC:  Sligs, I find them amusing because they keep falling for the same old tricks, Abe gets them every time.

Q:   Have you finished Munch's Oddysee?
HC:  Yes.

Q:   Why did you create an Oddworld inspired website?

HC:  Back in 2000 I decided that I wanted to be a web designer, I needed a subject to create a web site on, to teach myself web design. Oddworld was something I was passionate about and I wanted to share that with other people. It started my site as a hobby and turned into an obsession. :-)

Q:   How much time does it take to maintain the site?

HC:  I spend about 15 hrs a week researching and updating my site. And it took around 3 months full-time to re-vamp my site. Just recently I have updated all the pages and created new graphics ... still more features to come.

Q:   Where did you learn web design?

HC:  I taught my self HTML from books, and a lot of trial and error. I am currently finishing a Diploma of Multimedia; it's a course that teaches you web and graphic design. It also introduces you to 3D, I hope to get into 3D a little more when I finish my diploma, one day I would like to do game character design, maybe even work for Oddworld Inhabitants one day.

Q:  Is there anything you would like to say to your fellow Oddworld fans?

HC:  Stay odd everyone, and enjoy everything Oddworld Inhabitants has to offer.

Q:  If you could ask Oddworld creator Lorne Lanning one question, what would it be?

HC:  Wow so many questions ... hmm... I would ask ... Who will be the next Oddworld hero?
