The Article


Oddworld Inhabitants was formed in 1994 by special effects and computer animation veterans, Sherry McKenna and Lorne Lanning. Located in San Luis Obispo, California, their unique facility has attracted top video game and computer animation talent from all over the world. Together, they are creating a new breed of interactive entertainment.

Oddworld Inhabitants has built an excellent, hard-working team and is always interested in exceptionally talented programmers, artists and game designers. Qualified individuals should send a resume and sample to the address below.

Oddworld Inhabitants has the following immediate openings:

Senior Systems Administrator - The ideal candidate is a technology leader with at least 5 years multi-platform, network management and administration experience in UNIX and NT environments. Solid analytical ability and proven management skills essential. Hardware experience with SGI and PC required, MAC experience a plus. Familiarity with 3D computer graphics applications and scripting languages including PERL and CShell preferred.

3D Programmer - Minimum of three years C++ programming and one year 3D and video game production experience. Computer Science degree and Sony PSX experience a plus.

3D CG Modeler - Experienced and detail oriented "supermodeler" with film background to produce photorealistic, movie quality imagery. Superior texture mapping skills and high-end 3D modeling software experience a must.
