HaCk3d by Mr.NsSaF!!
Just a temporary post to allay the fears of the Forumites. Dave (Forum name eludes me) and I were able to hunt some info on the hacker. He appears to be telling the truth about being from the United Arab Emirates. His first known target was the Arab nssaf.com, hence his on‐screen moniker. He’s been targetting all vBulletin message boards that haven’t yet upgraded from 3.03, and unfortunately that’s us. Luckily, I was able to phone Alcar and wake him up to tell him to sort things out. Oh boy, and did we have some fun tonight?

OWF doesn't seem to have much luck concerning hosting/hacking/upgrading does it? Though I suppose things were quiet for a while. And I too am Oddworld Forums deprived! still, if it means the forums are back at full speed, I suppose I don't mind.

I think Alcar has asked the server people to take us back in time before the hack. So we don't have to use a half-finished skin that doesn't work. Unfortunately we'll lose all the posts we made since then. So good news and bad news.

Hey guys yeah I googled it after I found out since it was totally random....Thought it might be a joke at first, with the thought Alcar might be upgrading us to VB.3. But then like I said googled it and found out exactly what Xav did that this isnt the first site that's been targeted. Hope to see you all soon enough and glad that you got a hold of Alcar xav.

Yes, I agree that they're definitely amateurs....especially since they can't even type properly! :P I've had a very crappy week and there's no way that I'm going to let some idiotic hacker ruin it for me!! I wish you guys the best of luck and I hope you'll get the forums up and running soon. :)

Finally, an Oddworld site that actually works!
These guys are amatures. They're apart of a Hacking game site that gives you points for hacking websites. Eveybody else seems to have recovered from the attacks, so I guess we can consider ourselves lucky. Oddchat appears to be working fine, too bad it's still empty...
